Tyler Wanke invests on behalf of his family office with a focus on impactful venture investments within the life sciences.
Tyler is CEO & co-founder of MadSci (Madison Scientific, Inc.), a medical technology company developing smart implantable neurotech devices for hydrocephalus patients. He previously co-founded and serves on the board of Innoblative, medical technology company innovating therapeutic devices for breast cancer and beyond. He is also on the board of EDGe Surgical, Inc., an Orthopedic & Spine medtech venture.
He is adjunct professor at Northwestern University where he teaches medical entrepreneurship to the Kellogg School of Management, Feinberg School of Medicine, and McCormick School of Engineering.
He volunteers at Cures Within Reach (CWR), a non-profit dedicated to repurposing – testing already approved therapies for unsolved diseases.
He completed an MD from Feinberg School of Medicine, MBA from Kellogg School of Management, a Masters of Engineering Management (MEM) / Masters of Science of Design Innovation (MSDI) from McCormick School of Engineering / Segal Design Institute, and a BS in Neurobiology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
