Derek is a serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in business.  His first successful acquisition was in the clothing industry where he exclusively produced game jerseys and sports apparel for a nationally televised professional baseball league.  Shortly after, he ended up in the technology sector which is where he has been since 2005.

Derek has successfully created, developed and brought to market numerous technology-based products in various industries.  Derek’s experience has primarily been with disruptive enterprise software products with international exposure and usage.  His first brush with blockchain was back in 2010 as one of the early adopters of Bitcoin mining.  Since then, he has been involved in the space in multiple capacities including taking a mining farm public.

Derek’s experience has been multifaceted and effective in conceptualizing software solutions, forging new technologies, hiring and leading development teams, creating sales processes, rolling out marketing strategies, creating brands, constructing high output sales teams, inventing highly effective training curriculum, assembling top performing service teams who adopt and implement his strategies, negotiating international licensing deals and multiple IP based acquisitions to both private and public sectors.
