Daniel Schmidt is the Co-Owner and Chief Strategy Officer at Demand IQ, a SaaS provider in the cleantech space. He holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and International Business, with a minor in Economics, and a Master’s in Applied Quantitative Finance from the University of Denver.

Before joining Demand IQ, Daniel was a Partner at a water rights development company focused on surface and groundwater asset development. His background also includes current experience in tech investing, where he specializes in identifying and supporting innovative startups within the SaaS, cleantech, and logistics sectors. Daniel has a keen eye for emerging technologies and has successfully invested in several high-growth companies, contributing to their strategic direction and scaling efforts. Additionally, Daniel is a board member at Raisify, a tech startup within the fundraising space. He excels in financial analysis, business strategy, and analytical thinking.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and skiing, as well as traveling. He is also a dedicated fan of the Green Bay Packers, whom he considers the best franchise in modern day history. Daniel currently resides in Denver, CO, with his wife Jillian.
