

Annemarie Slobig
Annemarie Slobig, PsyD, an Associate Professor at The Chicago School, joined the program in spring 2019 and assumed the role of the Clinical Psychology Department Chair as of July 1, 2019. Prior to joining The Chicago School, she served in leadership roles in an APA accredited clinical psychology doctoral program for over 20 years. Dr. Slobig has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient hospitals, residential treatment, community mental health, transitional housing, and independent practice. She provides psychotherapy guided by a particular model of treatment called Intrapsychic Humanism and serves on the board of the Intrapsychic Humanism Society. She also has interests in group and organizational dynamics, group relations training, supervisory processes, and therapist development – especially as they pertain to personal growth and learning about diversity. She has a private psychotherapy and consultation practice in Oak Park, IL.
