Al Strikas joined Merrill Lynch in September of 2000. Previously, he spent 15 years in the Private Client Services Group at Goldman Sachs. He began his career working at Unocal as an engineer. He received a BS degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago.
Al leads a team within Merrill Private Wealth Advisory that advises some of the wealthiest North American families, business owners, corporate executives, and foundations. Al and his team pioneered the private wealth business in Canada at Goldman Sachs during the 1990s, and they continue to offer customized solutions to family offices both in the US and Canada. Al has over three decades of experience offering customized advice and guidance to a select group of clients on a broad range of wealth management issues in addition to his in-depth experience with capital markets.
